Plum Island is a little island located off of the coast of New York. It is a supposed animal disease center. It was started by an ex WWII German scientist. What they dod there is make new diseases that animals can carry. The founder liked to use little insects. It is rumored that lyme disease was created there. It is called lyme disease because it was first started in the coastal town of Lyme, Connecticut. There is a real danger of having the island so close to some major cities like New York City and Boston.
